Florida Managed Medical Assistance - Extension Request

Florida is submitting a request for a 5-year extension of its Managed Medical Assistance (MMA) section 1115 demonstration. The MMA program improves health outcomes for Medicaid recipients through care coordination, patient engagement and improved access to care. The state is not proposing any substantive changes in the extension of the MMA demonstration which includes: the MMA program, LIP program, Healthy Start program, Program for All Inclusive Care for Children and Comprehensive Hemophilia program. The federal public comment period will be open from January 13, 2017 through February 12, 2017.
