Improving American Indian Health in South Dakota

On April 15, 2019, South Dakota requested a new 5-year section 1115 demonstration to develop an alternative service delivery model to target access to primary care services for American Indians. The state proposes to use FQHCs and Urban Indian Health Clinics to provide services to dual Medicaid and IHS eligible beneficiaries. The federal comment period will be open from April 23, 2019 through May 23, 2019.
