The Virginia Governor's Access Plan (GAP) Demonstration

Virginia proposes to amend the Virginia Governor's Access Plan for the Seriously Mentally Ill (GAP) demonstration to reduce the income threshold for eligibility, but serve more lower income individuals in the demonstration, as required by state statute. Currently, eligibility goes to 100 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL). The legislature has allocated additional funding and the state proposes to target eligibility to people with income below 60 percent of the FPL, while increasing the total number of people served by the demonstration. The Federal public comment period will be open from April 14, 2015 through May 14, 2015.
