Utah Primary Care Network - Justice-Involved Individuals Amendmen Utah submitted an application to amend their demonstration to provide Medicaid coverage for qualified justice-involved individuals with a chronic physical or behavioral health condition; mental illness or an opioid use disorder, in the 30-day period immediately prior to release from a correctional facility. Qualified individuals must meet the eligibility criteria for the specific Medicaid programs, including, but not limited to: Aged Medicaid; Blind or Disabled Medicaid; Pregnant Woman; Adult Expansion Medicaid; Targeted Adult Medicaid; or Child Medicaid. The demonstration proposal includes benefit plan options based on Medicaid program/group eligibility criteria, cost sharing obligations, fee-for-service and managed care delivery systems. The federal public comment period will be open from July 13, 2020 through August 12, 2020.
