Wisconsin Badger Care Reform - Extension Application

Wisconsin is requesting to extend its BadgerCare Reform demonstration through December 31, 2023. The BadgerCare Reform demonstration provides Medicaid state plan benefits, excluding family planning and tuberculosis-related services to childless adults who have household incomes up to and including 100 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL). The demonstration also permits the state to charge premiums to adults who are only eligible for Medicaid through the Transitional Medical Assistance program for adults with incomes between 100 and 133 percent of the FPL. The extension request will further include changes that are requested as part of the state's pending amendment application from June 7, 2017. The federal public comment period will be open from January 23, 2018 through February 22, 2018.
