Minnesota Prepaid Medical Assistance Project Plus Amendment The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) requests to amend the Minnesota Prepaid Medical Assistance Project Plus (PMAP+) section 1115(a) demonstration to provide Medicaid eligibility for former foster care youth who turned 18 prior to January 1, 2023, and are under the age of 26. The Medicaid eligibility requirements mirror those provided in the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act, Pub. L. No. 115-271 for people who turned 18 on or after January 1, 2023.The federal public comment period will be open from February 5, 2024 through March 6, 2024.
