Delaware Diamond State Health Plan Demonstration

Delaware requests the ability to delay the open enrollment for managed care organizations (MCO) from May 2014 to October 2014. Approval of this amendment request will allow the state to transition to a benefit year that begins in January rather than October; which would allow the state to: (1) align their benefits with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace, and (2) enable the new MCO contracts to more reflect the efforts of the state's innovation model transformation planning.
