Healthier Mississippi - 2017 Extension

Mississippi is seeking to extend its Healthier Mississippi demonstration for five years with no program changes. This demonstration operates statewide and provides Medicaid services to aged, blind, or disabled individuals who have no Medicare coverage and who are not otherwise eligible for Medicaid. The goal of this demonstration is to improve the overall health status of individuals who, without the demonstration, have very limited access to health care by providing primary and preventive care. The state is not proposing any programmatic changes to the demonstration with this extension request. The federal public comment period will be open from October 17, 2017 to November 16, 2017.
