Utah Medicaid Reform 1115 Demonstration - UPP Premium Increase Amendment

On April 10, 2023, Utah submitted a request to amend their section 1115 demonstration to increase the premium reimbursement amount for children that receive premium assistance through Utah’s Premium Partnership for Health Insurance Program (UPP) and enable the state to make future changes through the state administrative rulemaking process rather than through a demonstration amendment. The federal comment period for this amendment will be open from April 19, 2023 to May 19, 2023.
