Montana Basic Medicaid for Able Bodied Adults Montana requests to amend the Montana Basic for Able Bodied Adults section 1115 demonstration. The amendment request is to remove individuals under age 65 with severe disabling mental illness who are not covered by or eligible for Medicare and who are between 0 and 133 percent of the federal poverty level, and able bodied adults from the demonstration. The state also requests to reduce the enrollment cap from 6,000 to 3,000, offer a benefit package that will align with the Medicaid state plan, and provide twelve months of continuous eligibility. The federal public comment period will be open from November 24, 2015 through December 23, 2015.
