Minnesota Prepaid Medical Assistance Project Plus - Extension Request Minnesota submitted a five year demonstration extension request seeking authority to provide Medicaid coverage to children ages 12 months through 23 months, who would not otherwise be eligible for Medicaid, with household income above 275 percent and at or below 283 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL) and pregnant women during the presumptive eligibility period. The state also seeks authority to fund graduate medical education through the Medical Education Research Costs trust fund. Last, the state is seeking authority to waive the federal requirement to re-determine the basis of eligibility for caretaker adults with income at or below 133 percent of the FPL, who live with children age 18 who are not full-time secondary school students. The federal public comment period will be open from July 15, 2020 through August 14, 2020.
