Wisconsin SeniorCare Wisconsin has requested to extend its "SeniorCare" Medicaid demonstration that extends eligibility to provide prescription drugs as a necessary primary health care benefit to seniors, age 65 or older, with income up to 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL). SeniorCare enrollees pay an annual $30 enrollment fee and incur co-pays of $5 for generic drugs and $15 for brand name drugs. Enrollees with income at or below 160% of the FPL have no other out-of-pocket costs. Those with income between 160 to 200% of the FPL pay the first $500 in prescription drug costs at the SeniorCare rate. The federal public comment period will be open from July 13, 2015 through August 11, 2015.
