Texas Healthcare Transformation and Quality Improvement Program - Amendment 8

Texas is proposing to amend their Healthcare Transformation and Quality Improvement demonstration to integrate coverage and care for the dual eligible population per the MOU signed in May 2014 between CMS and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). Texas is also proposing to add a clarifying modification to STC 30 to add to the list of populations not affected by the demonstration. The population to be added is "Individuals residing in a facility in the pediatric care facility class of nursing facilities, or any Veterans Land Board (VLB) Texas State Veterans Homes." The federal public comment period will be open starting November 19, 2014 through December 18, 2014.
