Healthy Indiana Plan - SMI/SED Amendment

On August 30, 2019, the State of Indiana submitted an amendment to their section 1115 demonstration, "Healthy Indiana Plan." This amendment will allow the state to receive federal reimbursement for providing services to Medicaid eligible individuals, ages 21-64, who are diagnosed with a serious mental illness (SMI) or serious emotional disturbance (SED) who have an acute inpatient stay in an Institution for Mental Disease (IMD). The federal comment period will be open from September 13 , 2019 through October 13, 2019.
